The New #4 Movie on Netflix Is a Must-Watch Sequel to This Channing Tatum Flick

Gird your streaming queues, because this throwback movie is making a comeback on Netflix.

Introducing Step Up 4. Despite the fact that it originally premiered in 2012, it recently claimed the number four spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched movies. (It’s currently ranked behind Bigfoot Family, Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell and I Care a Lot.)

The movie (AKA Step Up Revolution) follows Emily (Kathryn McCormick), a young dancer who arrives in Miami to pursue her dream of becoming a professional. It doesn’t take long for her to fall for Sean (Ryan Guzman), who just so happens to be the leader of a dance crew, “The Mob.”

When a developer threatens to displace thousands of people living in a historic neighborhood, the pair must use their craft to make a statement, even if it jeopardizes Emily’s future.

In addition to McCormick and Guzman, Step Up 4 also stars Misha Gabriel (Eddy), Peter Gallagher (William “Bill” Anderson), Stephen “tWitch” Boss (Jason Hardlerson), Tommy Dewey (Trip), Cleopatra Coleman (DJ Penelope), Megan Boone (Claire) and Adam Sevani (Robert “Moose” Alexander III).

Step Up 4 serves as a sequel to Step Up, which starred Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan. The original movie was followed by Step Up 2: The Streets and Step Up 3D.

Guess we finally have an excuse to break out our dancing shoes at home.
