It’s been amazing to see Simone Biles’s growing impact on the world of gymnastics. Not only has she made history as the most decorated gymnast of all time, but she also inspired quite a few impressive moves, from the "Biles" on the Balance Beam to the "Biles II" on Floor Exercise. Not to mention, the historic Yurchenko double pike that she nailed on the vault during the Tokyo Olympics.

Now, at this year's Olympic Games in Paris, Biles has made a show-stopping return. The fan-favorite delivered near-flawless routines in all four events and, as a result, helped Team USA take the lead during the qualifying round for the women's team. And, lo and behold, the women's team took home the gold medal (despite Biles's minor injury).

Since the 27-year-old has already reached legendary status, I just have to know, what is Simone Biles’s net worth? (Spoiler: It's $20 million.) And how much did she make when she earned her medals? Here’s what I know.

Simone Biles Bravely Speaks Out About Mental Health ‘I Didn’t Quit’

1. What Is Simone Biles’s Net Worth?

Per Celebrity Net Worth, the Olympic medalist is currently worth $20 million, but I imagine that number is growing even bigger by the minute.

2. How Much Did Simone Biles Earn from Her Olympic Wins?

Surprisingly, Biles’s earnings from her victories only account for a small percentage of her total net worth.

According to Newsweek’s breakdown of winnings at the 2020 Olympics, U.S. Olympians earn $37,500 for every gold medal, $22,500 for each silver medal and $15,000 for bronze medals. With Biles’s bronze and silver medal wins, this means that she made at least $37,500 during the Tokyo Olympics. This year, after winning the gold, she stands to make even more.

3. How Much Does Simone Biles Make Through Her Endorsements?

You may have spotted the athlete in a few quirky UberEats ads with Jonathan Van Ness, or maybe you've seen her flaunt her glowing skin in ads for SK-II, all thanks to her lucrative endorsement deals, According to Forbes, Biles is making at least $5 million a year through these partnerships, and other brands include Visa, GK Elite, Athleta and United Airlines.

4. Does Simone Biles Have Real Estate?

As you may have noticed from her Instagram feed, Biles currently resides in a luxurious home in Houston, Texas, which boasts a massive backyard and pool. Details about the cost haven’t been confirmed, but I do know that the Olympic gold medalist sold her childhood home for more than $250,000 in 2017. The 3,700-square-foot home included four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a game room and a library.

With her massive influence and a record seven Olympic medals under her belt, I get the feeling Simone’s pockets will stay full for years to come.

5. How Did Simone Biles Start Her Gymnast Career?

Biles was introduced to gymnastics when she was just 6 years old. After attending a daycare field trip in Texas, she was sent home with a note from her instructors, encouraging her parents to let her continue training. Thankfully, they followed their advice and enrolled Biles at a training program at Bannon's Gymnastics.

According to her book, The End of the Perfect 10, Biles's first trainer, Aimee Boorman, recalled, “We said, 'This kid’s got talent and we believe she’s going to learn things really fast,'”

However, Biles required a bit more work when it came to leaps, jumps and overall flexibility. Boorman added, “I explained to her that on bars, she does actually have to think. She has to be [a] smart gymnast on bars because [it] doesn’t come naturally for her.”

Looks like the gymnast has come a far way since she got her start.
