The show follows a group of corporate lawyers who work tirelessly to represent the firm in a positive manner. One lawyer in particular, Mike Ross, is hiding a dark secret that could ruin his career. Similar to The Lincoln Lawyer, the show features a combination of new cases and personal story lines.
Joanna Hanley is forced to return to her hometown when a mysterious illness spreads among high school students. Although she’s there as a lawyer, the visit brings back old memories and hidden skeletons. The fast-paced storytelling is ideal for fans of The Lincoln Lawyer.
6. Bosch
This isn’t your typical, run-of-the-mill crime drama. Based on the book series by Michael Connelly, the series follows a skilled detective (played by Titus Welliver) who works with the L.A.P.D. When he isn’t on the clock, his top priorities include raising his daughter and solving his own mother’s murder.
Based on the namesake novel by Sarah Vaughan, the story follows a powerful politician who comes under fire after sexual allegations surface. The story is told from the perspective of his wife, Sophie, who didn’t see it coming. Although it’s more personal than The Lincoln Lawyer, it’s interesting to see the differences between the U.S. and the U.K. justice system.
