The Academy Awards are here, and we’ve already put our money on Renée Zellweger, who is nominated for Best Actress for Judy, to win.

While the 50-year-old actress is no stranger to the awards show circuit, we barely know anything about her personal life. Like, who is Renée Zellweger’s husband? And will she bring a date to the 92nd annual ceremony? Keep reading for everything you need to know.

1. Who Is Renée Zellweger's Husband?

She doesn’t have one. Although Zellweger tied the knot with Kenny Chesney in May 2005, the marriage didn’t last long. The actress filed for an annulment just four months after they said, “I do,” which immediately raised questions about their whirlwind romance. The couple cited “fraud” as a reason for the split, but Chesney later told Oprah Winfrey that he panicked.

2. Who Has Renée Zellweger Dated?

Her first public romance took place in 1999 when she met Jim Carrey on the set of Me, Myself and Irene. During this time, he gave her a $200,000 engagement friendship ring, and the media had a field day thinking he proposed. One year later, they called off the relationship.

In 2002, Zellweger met White Stripes singer Jack White, and they immediately hit it off. Although they made a public appearance at the 2004 Oscars, the couple split shortly after.

Four years after her divorce, the actress met Bradley Cooper on the set of Case 39. After a two-year fling, the pair broke up in March 2011.

3. Does She Have A Boyfriend?

Not anymore. Zellweger was in a relationship with Doyle Bramhall II, who is a musician, songwriter and producer. They started dating back in 2012 but kept their romance under wraps—that is, until multiple sources reported that the couple split in May 2019.

Guess her plus-one spot at the Oscars is still up for grabs.
