Calling all sports fans

Enjoyed watching Netflix’s documentary Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: America's Sweethearts from start to finish? Then, I have a new sports docuseries that might just be up your alley. Oh, and did I mention that the brand-new series became the number one most-watched show on Netflix yesterday? (It’s since settled in at the number two spot behind Vikings: Valhalla.)

From the creators who brought us Netflix’s Quarterback, Receiver follows five elite NFL receivers. Over the span of eight episodes, this new docuseries gives football fans a peek inside the athletes’ lives off the field, from their personal relationships to home life.

The players highlighted in the documentary are 2023-2024 season NFL receivers Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

When choosing the NFL players to feature in the sports documentary, Receiver executive producer (and legendary quarterback) Peyton Manning wanted to show a side of the athletes that many people may not get to see.

“As we did with Quarterback, we look forward to telling the stories of five incredible receivers, each with their unique personality, skill set, and motivation for what drives them to be the best,” Manning told Netflix’s TUDUM.

Like I said before, Receiver is a must-watch for those who loved watching Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: America's Sweethearts because they both show a new side of the football world.

Currently sitting at number six on the Netflix top ten shows list, the cheerleading docuseries revolves around the 2023–2024 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) squad from the start of their season to the very end. From perfecting cheer routines to auditioning for the squad, follow along as these talented cheerleaders try to make their dreams come true.

Well, I know what I’m starting tonight.
