Thanks to her comedic genius and her stellar performances in films like Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect, the actress has garnered a huge following. But as much as we enjoy watching her on-screen, we want to know a bit more about her real-life relationship with Ramona Agruma. For example, when did the couple first meet? And how serious are they? Agruma is an L.A.-based fashion and jewelry designer, and according to her LinkedIn page, she founded Lemon Ve Limon—a sustainable clothing brand that offers comfy and affordable items. Additionally, she serves as a brand ambassador for a Turkish jewelry company called Bee Goddess. (Fun fact: Madonna, Rebel Wilson and Gwen Stefani are just a few celebrities who have worn her pieces.)
While speaking to People, the Senior Year star revealed that she met her girlfriend through a mutual friend. She said, "We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting. And that was a really good way to get to know each other. It was a bit old-school in that sense—very romantic."
She continued, "I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated, and so it's great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship. There were times—I'm not saying with all my exes, they're great—but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn't have. So, it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship."
Agruma's earliest post with Wilson dates back to November 2021, when they attended a Christmas celebration together. But according to People, Agruma and Wilson made their relationship official in January 2022. They even attended the Super Bowl together.
In June 2022, Wilson shared her first snap with her girlfriend on IG, confirming their relationship. In the caption, she wrote, "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince…but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess. #loveislove."
In the pic, both ladies are all smiles as they sit together at a holiday event. In the comments, celebrities like Selma Blair, Brittany Snow and Joshua Colley showed their support.
Neither Wilson nor Agruma have mentioned if they plan to tie the knot, but one source did confirm that they’re pretty serious.
Per People, they revealed, "It's a very serious relationship, and they're super happy together. It's been very cool for Rebel's friends to see her this secure with someone."
