If You Loved ‘The Lincoln Lawyer,’ You Need to Watch Netflix’s New Show ‘Partner Track’

Until the second season of The Lincoln Lawyer premieres on Netflix (yes, another season is coming), you’re probably looking for another show to help fill the empty void. Enter the new drama series, Partner Track.

Last week, Netflix released the first official trailer for the new show. The teaser starts with our main protagonist—Ingrid Yun (played by Arden Cho)—walking the streets of New York City in a pink power suit. “Being on the partner track is how you find out who you really are,” she says in the clip. “It’s cutthroat, and I’m so close.”

Based on Helen Wan’s 2013 novel of the same name, Partner Track follows an ambitious young lawyer named Ingrid Yun. She is a first-generation Korean American and the first lawyer in her family. The logline reads: “With the support of her friends, she battles through workplace challenges to break through the glass ceiling on her path to become partner. But will her drive and ambition leave room for love?”

Alongside Cho, the ensemble cast includes Bradley Gibson (Powerbook III: Ghost), Alexandra Turshen (Ray Donovan), Nolan Gerard Funk (The Flight Attendant), Dominic Sherwood (Penny Dreadful: The City Of Angels), Rob Heaps (Good Girls) and Matthew Rauch (Terminal List).

Partner Track will be available to stream on Netflix on August 26.
