It’s Official: ‘Nobody Wants This’ Is Returning for Season 2 on Netflix

Nobody Wants This stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody as two singles who come from entirely different worlds. Joanne (played by Bell) is a sex podcaster, while Noah (Brody) is a rabbi. Their meet-cute is full of comedic errors, but they still decide to get to know each other despite their differences.

PureWow editor Rachel Bowie raved about the star-studded comedy. “Nobody Wants This is the rare rom-com unicorn that nails the job,” she wrote in her positive review.

Foster previously sat down for an interview with IndieWire to discuss the success of Nobody Wants This. “We’re getting a really positive response,” she told the outlet. “And so I think the conversations have definitely started to happen about a potential season two.”

The screenwriter confirmed that due to the show’s slow-burn pace, there is still more story to tell. “The story in season one unfolds really slowly,” Foster explained. “And so I think if there is a season two, I would want to just kind of pick up where we leave off and continue to take it slow, because I don’t want us to get too far ahead of ourselves.”

Foster admitted that her ultimate goal is to extend the series for multiple seasons. She added, “I mean, I want my show to be on the air as long as possible!”
