This Must-Watch Rom-Com Is Now the #2 Series on Netflix

Calling all rom-com fans! Looking for your next TV obsession? Netflix just got a new #2 show and it's ABC's The Baker and the Beauty.

Based off the hit Israeli TV series Beauty and the Baker, the show follows Daniel Garcia, a young baker who feels uncertain about the future after leaving a four-year relationship. However, when he meets a famous Australian model and the family business starts to take off, he releases his world is about to change in a big way.

Check out the trailer below.

ABC writes, "Daniel Garcia is working in the family bakery and doing everything that his loving Cuban parents and siblings expect him to do. But on a wild Miami night he meets Noa Hamilton, an international superstar and fashion mogul, and his life moves into the spotlight."

The role of Daniel is played by Victor Rasuk (who you might recognize from the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy), while Noa Hamilton is played by Nathalie Kelley (The Vampire Diaries). The rest of the cast includes Carlos Gómez (NCIS: New Orleans), Dan Bucatinsky (Scandal), Lisa Vidal (Being Mary Jane), David Del Rio (The Troop), Belissa Escobedo (Don't Look Deeper) and Michelle Veintimilla (Gotham).

The Baker and the Beauty got a fresh score of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics like Lizzy Buczak of TV Fanatic saying, "The pilot has the makings of a great romantic comedy and admittedly, leaves you wanting more, again, just like any summer romance."

We'll be adding this to our must-watch list.
