One look at Michelle Yeoh’s net worth will tell you that she is one of the hardest working women in Hollywood. (FYI: she's worth around $40 million.)

In recent years, the now 62-year-old actress was named TIME magazine’s 2022 Icon of the Year and was included on their list of the 100 Most Influential People of 2022. She has also received dozens of accolades, including a Golden Globe win and an Oscar nomination for her stunning performance in A24's Everything Everywhere All at Once.

And, of course, she stars in Jon M. Chu's 2024 adaptation of Wicked alongside Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo as Madame Morrible, a professor at Shiz University and Oz powerbroker. However, it almost didn't happen. When Chu offered her the role, Yeoh shared with US Weekly that she was terrified. “When I got it, I said, ‘Jon, it’s a musical. I don’t sing.’ You know, [I’m] not like Cynthia [Erivo] and Ariana [Grande] — they are the real deal.” However, a phone call from both Erivo and Grande convinced her to come on board. It evidently paid off, with Wicked raking in $114 million in its opening weekend, per Variety.

Fans will be happy to know that Yeoh is far from finished, having secured roles for upcoming projects like Avatar 3 (2025), Avatar 4, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2029), Star Trek: Section 31 (2025) and Blade Runner 2099 (TBA). But how does all this success affect her earnings?

Keep reading for details on Michelle Yeoh’s net worth.

1. What Is Michelle Yeoh's Net Worth?

Celebrity Net Worth estimates that the Crazy Rich Asians star is worth $40 million. And it's all thanks to her lengthy list of acting credits.

2. How Much Did Yeoh Make from Everything Everywhere All at Once?

Her salary hasn't been made public, but we do know that her movie brought in a whopping $103 million worldwide, making it A24's highest-grossing movie of all time. Something tells us that she cashed in a massive check, since she played the lead role of Evelyn.

3. How Much Did She Earn from The Witcher: Blood Origin?

According to Showbiz Galore, Yeoh was reportedly paid $70,000 per episode, which adds up to a total of $420,000 for the entire season. Consider us impressed.

While speaking with IGN about why she joined the series, she said, “I was already a big fan of The Witcher series because I love this world of fantasy and science fiction and monsters and the ability to do magic and all that.”

4. What About Her Other Movie Roles?

Per IMDB, Yeoh currently has 67 acting credits under her belt. Some of her most notable works include Memoirs of a Geisha, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Crazy Rich Asians, Kung Fu Panda 2 and Last Christmas—all of which brought in more than $100 million at the box office. Plus, the actress has worked on shows like Strike Back: Legacy, Marco Polo and Star Trek: Discovery.

We may not know how many zeroes were on her paychecks, but it's safe to say there were plenty.

5. And Her Voice Work on Video Games?

The actress has already proven that she can nail voice roles in animated films (See: Minions: The Rise of Gru). So, it comes as no surprise that she got to use her skills for video games. How much she made hasn't been confirmed, but in 2003, she voiced the role of Yu Shu Lien in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. And in 2008, she voiced Zi Yuan in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

6. How Much Did She Earn for Wicked?

While unconfirmed, multiple outlets have reported that Yeoh was paid around $2 million for her role as Madame Morrible. Madame Morrible plays a crucial role in Elphaba's quest to meet the Wizard of Oz, offering her private instruction at Shiz University after discovering Elphaba's magical capabilities. This sets off a chain reaction, with events that the young witch could have never predicted.
