‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Season 5: Prime Video Releases New Trailer for Final Season

Our favorite fictional comedian is returning to the small screen for one final bow. (And yes, we’re talking about the one and only Midge Maisel.)

Prime Video just released the first official trailer for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 5, which will be the show’s last. (Cue the hecklers.)

The trailer begins with a voiceover of Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) on The Gordon Ford Show, where she teases what’s next for her stand-up comedy career. “I want a big life,” she says. “I want to break every single rule there is.”

The clip goes on to show a montage of scenes featuring Midge doing more comedy shows, greeting fans and co-parenting with her ex-husband, Joel (Michael Zegen). She also vents to her manager, Susie (Alex Borstein), about the future of her career. And as always, Susie is ready for stardom.

“It’s two steps forward, three steps back,” Midge says. “And I’m tired of it.” To which Susie responds, “This is it. This is the break. They’ll see you for what you are: a goddamn star.”

The trailer concludes with Midge saying, “I’m going to get this. You’ll see.”
