He’s a singer, songwriter, guitarist and record producer. Although Goldsmith collaborated with Moore on her first studio album in 11 years, Silver Landings, he’s also the front man for the American rock band, Dawes.
Moore and Goldsmith first crossed paths back in 2014. It all started when the This Is Us star tagged his band in an Instagram post, which prompted the musicians to exchange contact information. “Then we went on a date, and the rest is history” Moore told People. “Thanks, Instagram, for helping me meet my fiancé!”
In November 2018, the couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding at Moore’s home in Los Angeles. After the ceremony, the couple hosted a reception at The Fig House, which featured multiple different stations (like food, whiskey and even cake). The guest list included several familiar faces, including Minka Kelly, Wilmer Valderrama, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz and Sterling K. Brown.
As of February 2021, the answer is yes. Moore announced on Instagram that she welcomed her first child, a baby boy named August (or “Gus”).
“Gus is here,” she wrote. “Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined.”
In September 2020, we first learned that Moore was expecting her first child with Goldsmith. The This Is Us star shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram, featuring the parents-to-be cradling her growing baby bump. The caption read, “Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021,” along with a blue heart emoji.
