Ke Huy Quan Joins the Multiverse in New 'Loki' Season 2 Trailer

Time is running out for the God of Mischief in Loki—and he's enlisting the help of a TVA worker who looks very familiar.

After confronting the mysterious Time Variance Authority (or TVA) in season one, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is returning in season two to save the timeline from collapsing. And fans finally got a glimpse into his quest in Marvel's intense new trailer for the Disney+ series, which features Everything Everywhere All at Once star Ke Huy Quan. Believe it or not, this marks the Oscar winner's official Marvel debut.

In the trailer, Loki continues to feel the ripple effects of Sylvie's (Sophia Di Martino) actions as he glitches through different periods in time. And when he visits Quan's character, TVA worker OB, with Mobius (Owen Wilson), a perplexed OB informs them that it's "impossible to time-slip in the TVA," even though they just saw it happen.

Throughout the rest of the trailer, Loki teams up with Mobius and other TVA workers to deal with the ticking clock and navigate the expanding multiverse. Loki narrates, "I've been pulled through time, between the past and the present. If what I saw is true, there's nothing that stands between this world and utter destruction."

In case you need a refresher of season one, the finale ends with Sylvie killing He Who Remains and pushing Loki through the time door, creating several new variants of Kangs who could wreak even more havoc. And now, it's up to Loki to be the hero.

In an interview with ET Online, Wilson opened up about Quan being added to the cast of season two, calling it "exciting" news. He said, “That was incredible. Every time I saw him winning something, it was another speech that just kind of was a tear-jerker that was so moving. And even when we were working on this last summer—I think his character that he plays in Loki season two—I think people will be excited, even though that was so great, obviously, the character that he won an Oscar for, I think people are going to love his character in this.”

In addition to Quan, Hiddleston and Wilson, the season two cast will also include Eugene Cordero, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Tara Strong and Rafael Casal. There will be a total of six episodes, and the first is set to premiere on Disney+ on October 6.

We'll be counting down the days.
