On Instagram, the 34-year-old singer shared a never-before-seen picture of her character, who will make a special appearance in the season 34 finale. The image shows her posing in front of a colorful backdrop while wearing a navy blue two-piece jumpsuit with matching blue nails and white sneakers.
In the caption, Lizzo wrote in all caps, “SEE YOU IN SPRINGFIELD, B*TCH.”
Her fans shared their excitement for the singer’s special guest spot on the comedy series. One fan jokingly wrote, “Lizzo on the flute and Lisa on the sax.” Another said, “GASP,” and used a shocked face emoji to show their true emotions.
Lizzo has been a big fan of The Simpsons for quite some time, so much so that she dressed up as Marge Simpsons for Halloween last year and it was absolutely spot on.
Back in October 2022, the “Truth Hurts” singer shared pics of her costume on Instagram, where her body is completely covered with yellow paint and she’s rocking the character’s signature green dress, red heels, red pearl necklace and tall blue hairdo. She wrote in the caption, “I AM HIM - HIMMY NEUTRON- MARGE HIMPSON - @thesimpsons.”
