Lacey Chabert Spills the Deets on Her Latest Hallmark Christmas Movie, ‘Christmas at Castle Hart’

Lacey Chabert loves the holidays. So, when PureWow sat down to chat with her, she was more than excited to talk about her latest Christmas film. 

PureWow recently spoke with the Mean Girls actress to discuss her partnership with Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader, who are helping to make the holiday season brighter with road trip tips and tricks at HolidayinDrive.com.  

During the convo, the 39-year-old also opened up about her recent holiday film, Christmas at Castle Hart, which was released on the Hallmark Channel on November 27, 2021.

“We had the incredible experience of going to Ireland to film this one. I had never been there and I had always wanted to visit,” Chabert revealed. “So, I was just thrilled that I was able to do a movie there and bring it to life for the audience. Ireland was really a character in the movie.”

“This one is really special to me because it's about two sisters who decide to go look for their family roots and are just on a search for an adventure,” she continued. “On a whim, they decide to go spend Christmas in Ireland. While they’re there, they find themselves pretending to be an event planner and get wound up in planning this beautiful Christmas gala for the castle. But the movie at its heart is really about family and reconnecting with family and the importance of carrying on traditions and what it means to be a part of the community.”

Chabert is no stranger to Hallmark films. In fact, she just wrapped her 30th film for the network. Chabert stated, “It's hard to believe, I never would have thought.”
