Kim Cattrall fans finally have some new content to binge-watch while they wait for her highly anticipated cameo in the Sex and the City spin-off, And Just Like That.
Kim Cattrall’s New Show ‘Glamorous’ Is #6 on Netflix Just Days After Premiering
The 66-year-old actress’s brand-new series, Glamorous, just hit Netflix on June 22, and it’s already claimed the number six spot on the streaming service’s list of most-watched shows. (It’s currently ranked behind Catching Killers, Suits, Black Mirror, Sleeping Dog and Our Planet II.)
The series focuses on Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a queer influencer who’s thrilled to land an internship at Glamorous Cosmetics. His new boss is CEO Madolyn Addison (Cattrall), who built the company from the ground up. The problem? Glamorous Cosmetics isn’t doing very well, and Madolyn is convinced that one of her employees is exposing insider knowledge. So, Madolyn enlists Marco to be her unofficial spy. After all, he’ll do practically anything to get on her good side.
Other cast members include Jade Payton (Venetia), Zane Phillips (Chad), Ayesha Harris (Britt), Graham Parkhurst (Parker), Diana Maria Riva (Julia), Michael Hsu Rosen (Ben), Kaleb Horn (Nowhere), Lisa Gilroy (Alyssasays) and Ricardo Chavira (Teddy).
Glamorous premiered on the same day as season two of And Just Like That. Cattrall will reprise her SATC role, Samantha Jones, in the season two finale, and she’ll only appear in one scene. It will feature a phone conversation between Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker’s character, Carrie.
Welcome back, Kim Cattrall.
