Here’s a Closer Look at Bachelorette Katie Thurston’s New Engagement Ring

Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette has officially come to an end. Despite the predictable drama, the 30-year-old has confirmed that she’s now engaged to—drumroll, please—Blake Moynes.

During last night’s finale of The Bachelorette, Thurston moved on from the Greg drama and focused on her remaining two contestants: Moynes and Justin Glaze. After her Fantasy Suite date with Moynes, Thurston sent Glaze home, ultimately making Moynes the last man standing. At the final rose ceremony, he got down on one knee and proposed to Thurston with a Neil Lane engagement ring.

The sparkler features a large oval diamond that’s supported by embellished prongs and a hidden halo. Although we don’t know the exact cost of the accessory, we have no doubt it was covered by ABC.

Neil Lane also shared a glimpse of the engagement ring (see below). The slideshow begins with photos of the engaged couple, but they’re followed by a closeup video.

During the After the Final Rose special, Thurston confirmed that she’s confident with how her Bachelorette journey ended. “I think everyone can agree that this is exactly who I was supposed to be with,” she said. “He fought to be here for me and chose to stay even when I’m telling him to his face that I considered leaving. That he was confident enough to hold both of us till the end, I’m just so lucky. I love him so much.”

Moynes added, “I just had this crazy, weird intuition and feeling that we would hit if off because we’re so similar. It was just wild how it all kind of spiraled out of control in the best way.”
