Walsh explained that she always feels welcomed by the Grey’s cast and crew, adding, “It’s great. It’s like slipping into an old comfortable pair of jeans in the best way. You’re just like, ‘Ah, this is comfy, and this is cozy.’ But also, I just love it. The writing has never been better. Krista Vernoff is running it, and she’s just got a great solid stable of writers.”
The actress also addressed her now-defunct Grey’s Anatomy spin-off show, Private Practice. Although there’s no official plan to revive the series, Walsh confirmed that “anything is possible.” She continued, “We’ve always—amongst the cast at least—talked about that, but Shonda [Rhimes] hasn’t really delved into that, so I don’t know.” Your move, Shonda.
Walsh has been promoting her partnership with Systane Complete Preservative-Free Lubricating Eye Drops, which launched just in time for Dry Eye Awareness Month. “One drop lasts for eight hours,” she told PureWow. “So, for me—with traveling, shooting, whatever I’m doing, hanging out—it lasts. I don’t have to constantly use a wetting solution.”
Fingers crossed for more Addison cameos in Grey’s Anatomy season 19.
