#TBT to the series finale of Mad Men. No spoilers here, but let’s just say Don Draper (aka Jon Hammfinds himself in California, where he has a brief encounter with Clementine, a receptionist working at a wellness retreat. Flash forward nine years and there’s officially more to the story: Anna Osceola, who played Clementine, is now married to the 53-year-old actor. Sure, it might have been a very brief encounter, but it eventually led to matrimony.

The pair tied the knot with a gorgeous ceremony in Big Sur, California, in June 2023 (where that Mad Men finale was actually filmed, BTW). “[Marriage] gives you and your partner a sense of stability and comfort and an identifying capacity that is better, deeper, richer, than ‘it’s my girlfriend’ or ‘my boyfriend’ or what have you,” Hamm said during an appearance on the podcast Table for Two. And despite “settling down,” life has continued at a breakneck pace for the Mad Men alum, who is nominated for two Emmy Awards this year: Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for The Morning Show, where he plays Elon Musk-inspired billionaire Paul Marks, and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Fargo for his portrayal of antagonistic sheriff Roy Tillman.

Now, you’re probably wondering: Who is Jon Hamm’s wife, Anna Osceola? Well, here's everything you need to know, from how the pair first met to how long they've been together.

1. Who Is Jon Hamm’s Wife, Anna Osceola?

Osceola is a 36-year-old actress. She appeared on the series finale of Mad Men in 2015, but prior to that, Jon Hamm’s wife got her big break in 2007 when she played Charlie in the TV movie Not Another High School Show. Since then, she’s appeared in several projects including GreekRizzoli & Isles, Law & Order: True Crime and Confess, Fletch.

“The funny thing about this career is that there’s no rule book,” Hamm told People. “You really have to lean on one another for their support and for any kind of advice.”

2. Where Is She From?

Jon Hamm’s wife was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, before she moved to California to pursue an acting career. According to IMDb, earlier in her career, Osceola was actually a face of Abercrombie & Fitch.

3. When Did They Start Dating?

Neither Hamm nor Osceola have confirmed the exact timing, but it seems like they developed a romantic connection shortly after Mad Men. Most notably, they were spotted leaving a coffee shop together back in 2017, according to Extra.

Their romantic status wasn't officially broken until 2020, when Us Weekly confirmed the pair's relationship after they were spotted together on multiple occasions.

Hamm told People in 2023 that their relationship took time to form. “It’s a bumpy road towards relationships, but we do get better at it, I suppose,” the Bridesmaids actor said. “I mean, I feel like I’ve figured out some things over the course of my half a century on the planet. So I'm in a pretty good place now. Hopefully I’m learning.”

4. When Did They Go Red Carpet Official?

Two years after their relationship was confirmed, Hamm and Osceola attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2023 on the heels of their engagement announcement. There, the actress debuted an emerald-cut solitaire diamond ring, which she wore with a black-and-white gown and accessorized with a sparkling green clutch.

5. When Did They Get Married?

According to TMZ, the couple tied the knot in June 2023 at Anderson Canyon in Big Sur, the same location where the Mad Men finale was filmed. The wedding featured a star-studded guest list including Billy Crudup, Paul Rudd, Tina Fey and more.

When it comes to being in a marriage with another actor, Hamm told People, “You're in it, it's your life, and so you wake up and you deal with what comes at you. That's certainly the case with us.”

Hamm did admit to The Hollywood Reporter that he was afraid before he popped the question, citing his divorced parents and lacking a role model.

“Obviously, my parents were not married long, so I don’t have a model to look at and go, ‘Oh, this is how one finds happiness.’ I just knew at a certain point I wanted to be with this person. But when I proposed, I was terrified. I was like, ‘What am I doing?’”

6. Were They Previously Married?

Neither Hamm nor Osceola were previously married, however, Hamm was in a long-term relationship with screenwriter and actress Jennifer Westfeldt from 1997 to 2015.

Throughout their relationship, the two founded a production company together, called Points West Pictures, in 2009. However, the two shared a statement with People in 2015, where they said: “With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history. We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward.”

Years later, Hamm talked to the outlet about moving on from this breakup and building his life with Osceola. “It’s only been in the last couple of years, me kind of sitting down and really thinking about all that stuff, that’s made the relationship that I’m in now even more meaningful,” he said.

7. Have They Appeared in Other Titles Together Besides Mad Men?

Besides their brief scene together on the finale of Mad Men, Hamm and Osceola reunited on screen seven years later, in the crime comedy film Confess, Fletch.

In the 2022 film, based on Gregory Mcdonald's 1976 novel of the same name, Hamm plays the titular Irwin Maurice "Fletch" Fletcher, an investigative reporter. Meanwhile, Osceola plays his colleague Larry, a role previously portrayed by Geena Davis.

This was the third film inspired by Mcdonald’s Fletch book series, following the Chevy Chase-starring Fletch (1985) and Fletch Lives (1989).

8. Do They Have Kids?

Not yet. While Hamm hasn’t revealed whether they plan to start a family, he previously teased the idea of having children.  “[It's] opened up the possibility of things like being married, having kids, defining a new version of happiness, life, wellness,” he said during an interview with Howard Stern. “It sounds hokey and whatever, but it’s real and it’s—for what of a better word—it’s what I’m working for.”

9. Do They Have Social Media Accounts?

Both stay off of social media, keeping the details of their lives private.

In 2017, Hamm told InStyle the reason he doesn't keep public social media accounts: “The point of life is not to put dog ears on yourself and post it online for everyone to see...It's fun, it's adorable, but it's the visual equivalent of masturbating—there's no point other than immediate gratification.”

However, the magazine did note that Hamm keeps a private account so he can follow photographers and other artists.
