Jennifer Lopez Posts Rare Photo with Mom Guadalupe Rodríguez & They Look *So* Alike

It feels like it was just yesterday when Jennifer Lopez shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her twins, Max and Emme—complete with highlights from their trip to Japan. More recently, the 55-year-old star shined the spotlight on her mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez.

Earlier this month, the "Marry Me" singer marked her mother's birthday with an Instagram tribute, featuring a carousel of photos and a sweet caption with her nickname. J.Lo wrote, "Happy birthday mommy!! I love you so very much!! Thank you for being there for me always…#TheLupinator."

The photos include a selfie of the mother-daughter duo, a candid snap of Rodriguez in hair rollers and a throwback of the pair dining together. But guys, I can't get over the striking resemblance between Lopez and her mom.

I nearly did a double-take when I spotted the post on my feed, because J.Lo and Rodriguez have matching smiles. And I'm not the only one who noticed. In the comments section, one fan wrote, "She got it from her mamma."

Several other fans filled the comments section with compliments and well wishes. One person said, "Catching your mom in rolos for a picture is BOLD!! Happy Birthday Ms. Rodriguez. May God bless you always." Another wrote, "Happy birthday Lupe, we love and adore you."

This isn't the first time I've noticed the strong resemblance between the former American Idol judge and her mom. In 2020, when Lopez was promoting her new brand, JLo Beauty, the singer posted a selfie with her mother and wrote, "My mom’s beauty secrets are the foundation of JLO BEAUTY. [heart emoji] Soon we’ll share them with all of you!"
