Not only is Jennifer Lopez an actress, award-winning singer, style icon and overall badass, but she’s also a mother. The 52-year-old “On the Floor” singer may be Jenny from the Block to us, but to her 14-year-old twins, Emme and Max, she’s Mama. 1. Emme Maribel Muñiz
Lopez and Anthony (his real last name is Muñiz) welcomed Emme and their brother, Max, in February 2008. Although Lopez calls her children her “coconuts,” Emme also has a unique nickname—Lulu.
Now, Emme is growing up and starting to take after J.Lo and Anthony. (Emme even joined Lopez on stage for the 2020 Super Bowl show.) The teen teamed up with their mom again for a performance at the Los Angeles Dance Foundation's Blue Diamond Gala. As Lopez welcomed Emme to the stage, she used gender-neutral pronouns.
“The last time we performed together was in a big stadium like this, and I ask them to sing with me all the time, and they won't,” she said, according to Entertainment Weekly. “So, this is a very special occasion.”
2. Maximillian David Muñiz
But Emme isn’t the only one with a beautiful singing voice. Max also inherited his voice from his parents, as you can see above. According to J.Lo, Max has a great sense of humor and often brightens her day.
Although Max and Emme are twins, they opted to attend different middle schools. He’s a good student and J.Lo recently praised his hard work on a school project.
3. Will J.lo Have More Kids?
Although Lopez has two kids already, she previously revealed she’s still open to expanding their family. When the Hustler star was still with Alex Rodriguez, she told People, “I don’t know that it’s in God’s plan, but I would like to try. I’m so open to it.”
Now that she’s engaged to Ben Affleck, who also has three children of his own, is it possible more kids are in the cards? We guess we’ll have to wait and see.
