‘Euphoria’ Star Javon Walton (AKA Ashtray) May Be Leaving the HBO Series, But He’s Joining Another Hit Show

*Warning: Major spoilers ahead*

During the season two finale of Euphoria, fans had to say a final farewell to the ultimate badass, Ashtray (played by Javon Walton). When the SWAT team raided their house, Ashtray engaged in a shootout with the police.

Fez survived the shooting, only taking a bullet to the stomach. But his partner wasn’t so lucky. In the end, Ashtray seemingly died.

The good news is fans haven’t seen the last of the young actor. Earlier this month, Netflix revealed that Walton will join the third season of the superhero series, The Umbrella Academy. The streaming service posted the exciting news on its official Instagram page.

While sharing a snapshot of the Euphoria actor, the caption read, “I heard a rumor… that @onwardwanna is joining the cast of Umbrella Academy Season 3 (and I’m happy to confirm that it is true).”

It remains unclear what role he will play in the series. At the moment, Netflix has not announced an official release date for the new installment. But, fans have speculated the season will arrive sometime in 2022 or 2023. So, it seems we’ll have to wait a little longer to see the superhero crew back in action.

The Umbrella Academy centers around adopted superhero siblings who must band together to solve the mystery surrounding their father’s death. The entire show is based on the comic book series written by My Chemical Romance lead singer, Gerard Way. Upon its release, it became one of the biggest shows on the platform.

We can’t wait to see Walton in the new season.
