But it's not his only claim to fame

Before he became our favorite soccer coach (pardon us, football coach) in the beloved Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, Jason Sudeikis had been working in the entertainment biz for quite some time. In addition to working as a writer and performer for Saturday Night Live starting in 2003, the Emmy Award-winning actor has had starring roles in movies like Horrible Bosses and recurring parts in shows like 30 Rock.

Since creating Ted Lasso, Jason Sudeikis's net worth has ballooned to a massive $20 million.

According to Sudeikis, his success didn’t come easy. “I didn’t realise my folks were worried about me when I was taking improv classes in my 20s,” he told The Guardian. “But when I got the job writing at SNL, now they could tell their friends, ‘Oh, our son writes on SNL. Now it’s something.’”

And now, he’s nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor (Musical or Comedy). Keep scrolling for details about the actor's net worth and how he acquired his wealth.

1. What Is Jason Sudeikis’s Net Worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jason Sudeikis is worth a total of $20 million, and we’re pretty sure that large amount would have his Ted Lasso character sour yelling from the sidelines.

And now that his "football coach" days are behind him, we're confident he'll continue to build on his net worth with future roles. The actor previously revealed that he’s open to playing all types of characters. “It’s up to me to not just play an a-hole in every movie,” he told GQ.

2. How Much Did Jason Sudeikis Earn from Ted Lasso?

For the first two seasons, Sudeikis earned a whopping $400,000 per episode. However, when it came time to film the third season, it appears the actor received a big pay raise because Celebrity Net Worth reported he started earning $1 million per episode.

Although the show is ending with season three (or so we think), Sudeikis is grateful for the show’s success. “That was one thing we spoke about on our final day of filming,” he told The Guardian. “The show may be over, but what we learned here… It’s not like Vegas: what happened here, stays here. No, what happened here, take it, take it to your village, take it to your family, take it to your next project. For real. Aren’t funerals not always to celebrate the dead, but also to remember you’re alive?”

3. What About His Endorsement Deals?

In 2012, Sudeikis added to his net worth when he landed an endorsement deal with Applebee’s, where he voiced numerous commercials for the restaurant chain. In addition, he played the role of Ted Lasso as part of a promotional campaign with NBC back in 2013.

“One of the great things is that Ted Lasso has granted a tremendous amount of creative autonomy,” he told The Guardian.

4. Does He Have Kids?

Sudeikis shares two children with his ex-wife, Olivia Wilde: a son namd Otis, 9, and a daughter named Daisy, 7. “I’m lucky, both my kids are naturally kind,” he told The Guardian. “They can get a little surly, sure, Otis more than Daisy. But at the end of the day, they’re just nice folks. And I was raised by nice folks.”

5. What About Real Estate?

Some may not know Sudeikis has quite a real estate portfolio. Back in 2014, he and his now ex-wife, Olivia Wilde, purchased a 6,500 square-foot and nine-bedroom townhouse in Brooklyn for $6.5 million. And in 2019, the pair also bought a Spanish-style home in the Silver Lake neighborhood in Los Angeles for a total of $3.5 million.

Talk about impressive.
