While Live with Kelly and Mark will go on a hiatus over the summer, Kelly Ripa, 52, has another hosting gig to keep her busy. That's right—the TV personality's game show, Generation Gap, will be returning for season two on Thursday, June 29.

In case you never tuned in to the series, Generation Gap is a comedy quiz show that “pairs teams of seniors and juniors, challenging them to answer questions about pop culture from each other's generations,” according to the show's official synopsis.

Back in May, Ripa announced that the series would be returning in summer 2023. She shared a promotional image to her personal Instagram, along with a caption that read, “Are you ready for round 2? The second season of #GenerationGap premieres June 29 on ABC, and stream on Hulu! @GenerationGap.”

Last year, when Generation Gap hit our screens in early July, we learned that there are surprises in store for these age-gapped contestants. For instance, the champions of the first-ever episode—75-year-old Marilyn and her grandson Nolan, 14—were awarded $24,250 for winning. However, when they wanted to add another prize at the end of the episode, they were presented with a segment called “Toddler's Choice.” During this closing, the family brought out its youngest member, 5-year-old Andrew, who ended up choosing a Razor scooter over a Kia Niro LXS car (womp womp).

The idea for Generation Gap originally stemmed from a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Kimmel acts as an executive producer on the show. Other executive producers include Mark Burnett, Barry Poznick and even Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos.

In season one, Ripa's pal and former Live co-host, Ryan Seacrest, made an appearance on the show. If we're lucky, the American Idol emcee might make a surprise appearance in season two. (*Fingers crossed.*)

Generation Gap returns on June 29. We'll be tuning in each week to get our Kelly Ripa fix.
