If you’re looking for an edge-of-your-seat thriller that will make you question who you can (and can’t) trust, you’ve come to the right place.

Don't Move just premiered on Netflix last week, and it’s already claimed the number one spot on the streaming service’s list of most-watched movies. (It’s currently ranked ahead of Time Cut, The Secret Life of Pets, Martha and Woman of the Hour.)

The story follows a woman named Iris (Kelsey Asbille), who’s fighting through a deep depression after the tragic death of her son.

To make matters worse, she crosses paths with a dangerous serial killer (Finn Wittrock) who puts her through a real-life nightmare. As in, he injects her with a paralytic substance that causes her body to slowly shut down. She must fight her way to safety before she’s completely overcome by the drug.

It’s important to note that the ending of Don’t Move leaves viewers with several questions. According to producer Sam Raimi, the ending is supposed to hint at the valuable life lesson that Iris learned.

“Kelsey starts the film helpless,” he told Tudum. “She’s been through a lot and she feels as though she’s reached the end of her road. I think through the interaction with Finn’s character throughout the movie, even though it’s a suspense movie, it’s also a character film and she develops what she had lost—that desire to live.”
