This Colin Farrell Flick Is the New #2 Movie on Netflix & It’s Loaded with Action

Ready thy popcorn, ladies and gents, because this action-packed movie, Dead Man Down, is gaining popularity on Netflix.

It’s important to note that Dead Man Down is neither a new release nor a Netflix original. It initially hit theaters back in 2013 and just recently became available to watch on the streaming service, where it claimed the number two spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched movies. (It’s currently ranked behind The Mitchells vs. the Machines and ahead of Monster, Madagascar 3 and The Whole Truth.)

The movie tells the story of Victor (Colin Farrell), an up-and-coming gangland player who secretly infiltrates Alphonse’s (Terrence Howard) criminal empire. However, Victor is not after power (like many expect). Instead, he’s seeking revenge on Alphonse, who’s responsible for destroying his life and career. Things take a threatening turn when Victor’s neighbor, Beatrice (Noomi Rapace), gives him an ultimatum after uncovering his dark secret.

In addition to Farrell, Howard and Rapace, Dead Man Down also stars Dominic Cooper (Darcy), Isabelle Huppert (Maman Louzon), Luis Da Silva (Terry), Wade Barrett (Kilroy), Franky G (Luco), Declan Mulvey (Goff), John Cenatiempo (Charles), Roy James Wilson (Blotto), Stephen Hill (Roland), Aaron Vexler (Paul), Accalia Quintana (Delphine), James Biberi (Ilir), F. Murray Abraham (Gregor), Andrew Stewart-Jones (Harry), William Zielinski (Alex) and Armand Assante (Lon).

Movie night just got way more exciting.
