This Ryan Gosling Flick Is Now the #5 Movie on Netflix & We Can See Why

What do you get when you combine Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell and Julianne Moore? This classic rom-com.

As of this week, Crazy, Stupid, Love has been gaining popularity on Netflix. Although the film originally premiered in 2011, it just recently claimed the number five spot on the streaming service’s list of most-watched movies. (It’s currently ranked behind Bigfoot Family, Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell, I Care a Lot and Step Up 4.)

So, what’s it about? Crazy, Stupid, Love follows the story of Cal (Carell), a devoted father and husband whose life is turned upside down when his wife, Emily (Moore), reveals that she’s been unfaithful and wants a divorce.

Everything changes when Cal meets Jacob (Gosling), a professional flirt who takes Cal under his wing and teaches him how to pick up women. (And yes, it’s just as funny as it sounds.)

In addition to Gosling, Carell and Moore, the movie also stars Marisa Tomei (Kate), Emma Stone (Hannah), Analeigh Tipton (Jessica), Jonah Bobo (Robbie), Joey King (Molly), Beth Littleford (Claire), John Carroll Lynch (Bernie) and Kevin Bacon (David Lindhagen).

Crazy, Stupid, Love was directed by Glenn Ficarra (I Love You Phillip Morris) and John Requa (King of the Jungle). Dan Fogelman (This Is Us) penned the script.
