Have you binge-watched all three seasons of Cobra Kai? Well (good news!), Netflix already renewed the popular TV show for season four, which means all-new episodes are on the way.
Keep reading for details on Cobra Kai season four.
The answer is yes. Netflix renewed Cobra Kai for season four back in 2020. The new installment will likely consist of ten episodes, just like its predecessors. Writers previously confirmed that they’re eyeing a six-season run, so watch for more announcements.
Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t announced a premiere date for Cobra Kai season four. On the bright side, filming is supposed to begin this month. Based on past seasons, we wouldn’t be surprised if the new episodes drop later this year, since there’s an approximate six-month turnaround period.
Cobra Kai is based on the classic ’80s movie The Karate Kid. But this time, it takes place 30 years after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. It follows Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) as he reopens the infamous Cobra Kai dojo, ultimately reigniting his rivalry with Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio).
Netflix hasn’t released many details about the storyline for season four. Still, we expect it to pick up right where we left off in season three, which concluded with Kreese’s (Martin Kove) mysterious phone call.
In addition to Zabka, Macchio and Kove, Cobra Kai also stars Peyton List (Tory), Mary Mouser (Samantha), Zolo Maridueña (Miguel), Tanner Buchanan (Robby), Courtney Henggeler (Amanda), Hannah Kepple (Moon) and Vanessa Rubio (Carmen).
The first three seasons of Cobra Kai are now streaming on Netflix.
