If there's one thing we can count on Cardi B for, it's making a statement—whether that's on stage, on Instagram Live or on the red carpet, the girl knows how to get the people talking. And true to nature, she didn't disappoint when she made a splash during Paris Fashion Week yesterday. The "WAP" rapper made her first post-baby appearance in the city of love at the "Thierry Mugler: Couturissime" exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs merely three weeks after giving birth to her second child (a son whose name has been kept under wraps).
Cardi B Just Made Her First Post-Baby Appearance with Two Stunning Looks During PFW
For her return to the red carpet, the 28-year-old Bronx native showcased her curves in a stunning red number that featured a crystal-encrusted bustier, mermaid skirt adorned with sequins, matching elbow-length gloves and a feathered cape to really drive the avant-garde look home. The dress made its debut back in Thierry Mugler's Fall/Winter 1995 Couture Collection at Paris Fashion Week and was worn by supermodel Eva Herzigová, reports Buzzfeed. It seems the new mama was truly feeling herself and as she captioned her photos "Mugler Mami" on Instagram.
But she wasn't done. For the afterparty, Cardi turned up with yet another stunning Mugler dress. This time, she went all-black, wearing a leather bodice cinched at the waist and a flowy, see-through skirt. "Thank you @manfredthierrymugler for including me in such a historical night, the opening of your exhibit in Paris!" she wrote on Instagram. "Truly one of my favorite creative minds in the WORLD! I’m mind blown looking at your collections from over the years. A true Genius!"
Honestly, we love to see it.
