Major congrats are in order for Taylor Swift, who was just named the second greatest pop star of the 21st century.

From her 14 Grammy wins to her record-breaking Eras Tour—which has seen famous Swifties attend like Serena Williams and Mindy Kaling—it comes as no surprise that Billboard magazine ranked her so highly. The 34-year-old pop star had one of her biggest years yet, becoming the richest female musician of all time and making history as the first person to win a Grammy for Album of the Year four times. As a result, she outranked artists like Rihanna (ranked third), Drake (fourth) and Lady Gaga (sixth). And while Billboard has yet to crown the biggest pop star of the 21st century, I have a pretty good idea who it will be.

I'll give you a few hints. She's a Texas native with a record 32 Grammy Awards to her name, and she's now making waves with her genre-bending country album, Cowboy Carter. Plus, she's been known to push boundaries and empower Black women throughout her three-decade career. Of course, I'm talking about the one and only Beyoncé.

The singer has come such a long way since her Destiny's Child days, rising to become one of the most influential artists in the world. She has since released several unforgettable hits, from "Halo" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" to "Run The World (Girls)" and "Break My Soul." Not only that, but she popularized surprise albums with the release of Homecoming: The Live Album and Black Is King, which scored two Grammys and an Emmy. Artists like Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Eminem and even Taylor Swift have followed in her footsteps. And of course, I can't forget about her incredibly loyal fanbase, the Beyhive.

Outside of music, Queen Bey is also a fashion icon, an entrepreneur (psst, check out our review of her hair care line) and a proud philanthropist. Although she wears many hats, the singer has opened up about being intentional with her many business ventures.

She told GQ, "My perception of what success looks like, for me, is very different than most. When I commit, I’m 100 percent in. I prefer to focus quietly, uninterrupted by things that are a distraction to the authenticity. I believe everything can always be better. My job is to give until it is the best it can possibly be. I’m inspired by things that fill a void, solve a problem, or don’t already exist. Otherwise, I’m not drawn to the opportunity."

It's worth noting that Rolling Stone has already named her the greatest living entertainer of the past decade, and her ability to master different genres, including R&B, pop, dance, afrobeats and country, proves her versatility as an artist.

While speaking with GQ about her incredible achievements and influence, Beyoncé said, "I hope my work encourages people to look within themselves and come to terms with their own creativity, strength, and resilience. I focus on storytelling, growth, and quality. I’m not focused on perfectionism. I focus on evolution, innovation, and shifting perception. Working on the music for Cowboy Carter and launching this exciting new project feel nothing like prison, nor a burden. In fact, I only work on what liberates me."

Thanks to the longevity of her career, her incredible talent and her continued advocacy for change, Beyoncé remains one of the biggest pop stars—scratch that, the biggest pop star—of our generation. And I'm willing to bet that Billboard would agree.
