Bullock and Kidman are primo on their own. Together? Playing nonpracticing witches who try to use their hereditary gift for magic to fix their love lives? Solid gold. (Same goes for the Stevie Nicks soundtrack.) FYI, Kidman and Bullock are set to reprise their roles in the sequel, Practical Magic 2, which will drop in 2025. Kidman said in a statement, "Yes I will be in it. And Sandy will be in it. There's a lot more to tell which is why we go, 'OK, this is kind of interesting now to be able to do this.'"

2. Hocus Pocus (1993)

More witches! The Sanderson sisters are resurrected after three centuries, and just in time for trick-or-treaters. But can Max stop them from carrying out their evil plan? While I find Max seriously problematic, I love the film's quirky tone and the funny sister dynamics between the Sanderson trio. Although it wasn't a critical success, it became a fan favorite and even spawned a franchise. Part two was released in 2022 and the third installment is now in development.
