1. Is It True Barry Season 4 Will Be the Final Season?

Per HBO's press release, this will definitely be the last season, so fans will have to bid farewell to the series. Amy Gravitt, Executive Vice President of HBO and HBO Max Comedy Programming said, “After three masterful seasons of BARRY, we are eager for viewers to see the powerful, complex and hilarious conclusion to Barry Berkman’s story. It has been a pleasure working with this immensely talented team including Bill Hader, Alec Berg, Aida Rodgers and the entire exceptional cast and crew.”

While discussing the final season with Variety, show creator and star Bill Hader also revealed that these episodes would tie up some loose ends. He said, "A lot of people after last season were like, 'Why are you doing another season? It should have just ended.' But to me, there are still so many questions with the other characters, and with Barry, and there’s so many things unsaid."

2. What Is the Plot for Barry Season 4?

Per HBO's official logline, season four will continue where that wild season three finale left off. It reads, "Cousineau is hailed as a hero as Barry’s arrest has shocking consequences. It’s all been leading up to this, the explosive and hilarious final chapter of Barry."

Hader also told Variety, "What happens in season 4 is structurally radical in some ways, but it made sense for what I think the characters needed to go through, and what I think the whole show is always kind of headed towards. You realize, well, we could pad a lot of stuff, and just make story. But if we’re going forward, it ends in Season 4."

3. Who Will Be in the Cast?

As expected, most of the cast will reprise their roles to continue the storyline in season four. Bill Hader, Henry Winkler, Sarah Goldberg, Stephen Root, Anthony Carrigan, Michael Irby, Andrew Leeds, Fred Melamed and Jessy Hodges are all set to return. Robert Wisdom, who appeared as Jim Moss is season three, will also get plenty more screen time as a series regular in season four.

As for newcomers, Patrick Fischler (best known for his role on Mad Men) joined the cast to play Lon Oneil.

4. Is There a Trailer for Barry Season 4?

There sure is. In the one-minute trailer, which is set to The Walker Brothers' "After The Lights Go Out," there's a quick recap of where season three left off, with Barry getting arrested. Then, we see the veteran serving his time in jail, and he's joined by none other than his nemesis, Fuches.

The clip also offers a glimpse of Sally as she returns to the set of a movie, and a stressed out Nono Hank, who reunites with his love interest, Cristobal.
