Netflix Has a New #1 Show That Is Certifiably Binge-Worthy

Calling all sports fans! Netflix has a new number one show that is sure to become everyone's next obsession (if it isn't already).

Although All American has aired for three seasons on the CW, the latest episodes were just uploaded to the streaming site. Soon after, the show quickly jumped up to the top spot, where it now sits above major hits like Virgin River and Manifest.

All American is based around the life of linebacker Spencer Paysinger, who played college football at Oregon before signing with the New York Giants in 2011. While the show is a dramatization of Paysinger's life, it was inspired by his experiences as a football player at Beverly Hills High School and his life growing up in southern Los Angeles.

British actor Daniel Ezra stars as Spencer James, the lead character who is modeled after Paysinger. Along with Ezra, the cast includes Calesha "Bre-Z" Murray (Empire), Greta Onieogou (Heartland), Samantha Logan (13 Reasons Why), Cody Christian (Pretty Little Liars), Karimah Westbrook (The Rum Diary) and Taye Diggs (Private Practice).

Those who are fans of the show have reason to be excited because All American has already been renewed for a fourth season. And if you're just now hearing about it, don't fret. The next season won't air on the CW until October 25, so still there's plenty of time to catch up.
