This Drive-In Wants You to Watch ‘Jaws’ While Floating in Water—If You Dare

jaws on the water hero

If the foreboding duh-nuh, duh-nuh, duh-nuh doesn’t really do it for you on dry land, then you might want to consider rewatching Jaws in the scariest way you possibly can—from the water.

From June 30 to July 23, Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas, is bringing the 1975 classic back for an old-school drive-in showing. But there’s a catch: Viewers watch while floating in inner tubes on the inky black Lake Travis. Cue the screams.

And if that’s not enough for you, there will also be screenings of Jaws 2Jaws 3 in 3-D and even Jaws: The Revenge—each for one night only—to really drive home the whole “afraid to go in the water” thing.

Tickets cost $55 and include all-day access to Volente Beach Water Park slides, as well as an inner tube for your floating pleasure. And if you’re way too scared to watch from the water, you can also sit safely planted on the beach.

But don’t be afraid to dip your toe in the water—there has never been a single recorded shark sighting at Lake Travis. Yet…
