Um, Zoey Deutch's Golden Globes Hairstyle Was Created With Products That Cost $10 or Less

When The Politician star Zoey Deutch strolled onto the Golden Globes carpet in a deep yellow Fendi Couture gown, everyone's jaws collectively dropped. And rightfully so. She looked amazing, and also bore a striking resemblance to Mandy Moore.

But perhaps the most stunning aspect of Deutch's look? The fact that her perfectly coifed hairstyle was created using solely drugstore products.

Deutch's hairstylist, Gregory Russell, created the tucked-behind-the-ears look using products from Dove's Style + Care line. Here's exactly how he crafted the sleek, sophisticated style. 

Russell started out by massaging some Dove Style + Care Volume & Fullness Mousse into Deutch's damp hair from root to tip. He focused on one-inch sections of hair to ensure that every strand was coated and primed for the long night ahead.  

Then, to create the flipped-out curl, Russell used a small round brush. He started at the nape of Deutch's neck, and worked his way around, drying two-inch sections until her whole head was dry. 

But to really take those flips to the next level, Russell needed to bring in the big guns: a flat iron. He spritzed the actress's ends with Dove Style + Care Smooth & Shine Heat-Protect Spray before using his hot tools.

After hitting her dry roots with a little bit more of the Dove Style + Care Volume & Fullness Mousse and combing it through for that slicked-back look we all swooned over, Russell finished off the 'do with some Dove Style + Care Micro Mist Extra Hold Hairspray to "lock the style" in place. And voilà, Deutch was ready to hit the carpet.
