Makeup gurus are very familiar with the viral IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream ($47). But how does it compare to e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo CC Cream ($15)? Let’s find out.

PureWow just released a brand-new episode of What the Dupe, a show where we find, test and tell you about our favorite beauty dupes. In the installment, Matthew did a wear test with both products to determine which one deserves a spot in your makeup bag.

In the episode (see above), Matthew addressed the elephant in the room. “The number one question is: What the f*** is a CC cream?” he said. “Isn’t it just a foundation? No. It stands for ‘color correcting cream.’ They’re typically supposed to be more lightweight.”

To ensure consistency, Matthew used the same amount of each product. “For reference, I used one pump of this for my entire right side of my face, so a little does go a long way,” he added.

So, was the e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo CC Cream nearly as good as the IT option? Watch the full episode above to find out and keep scrolling for details on both products.
