After spending the weekend pushing the limits of Champagne consumption and karaokeing, I was admittedly not feeling my freshest this bright and early Monday morning. (Gotta love those wild three-day weddings!) So, in addition to my daily cold brew, I reached for my second favorite pick-me-up to get prepped for all my Zoom meetings: the Tula Cooling and Brightening eye balm, which can very well be considered a cold brew for your under-eyes—a dose of caffeine included. Besides the fact that both I and seemingly *all of TikTok* love the stuff, at just $38, it's also totally affordable.

Tula

The product is available in two versions, the pink tube Rose Glow + Get It (the one on my face as we speak) and the blue tube Glow + Get It ($38). Both formulas contain probiotic extracts, hydrating hyaluronic acid and yes, even buzzy caffeine, to help soothe and cool tired eyes, while aiming to reduce the look of fine lines to boot. The difference, if you’re wondering, is that the Rose Glow + Get It also includes nourishing rosewater and rosehip oil (considered a plant-based alternative to retinol, per the brand).

Similar to lip balm, the eye balm comes in the form of a creamy stick solid. To apply it, you simply glide on in an upwards motion under and around your eye area. Thanks to its slightly shimmery finish, the product instantly brightens your skin (like a highlighter, but more subtle), which, on its own, can help you appear more well-rested—even if you’ve had a few late nights in a row. But the real magic is in its cooling effect, which also helps you feel more awake. I’d compare it to the tingling sensation you get after using an ice roller on your face—refreshing but not overpowering.

And don’t just take my word for it: TikTok beauty gurus have been raving about both formulas for quite some time, and videos of the products have racked up well over 4 million views on the platform. As one reviewer, @skincareanna, explains in a video, “they’re not going to magically get rid of your under-eye bags, but they’re definitely cooling, so they help with the puffiness.” Um yep, co-signing that.

So if you’ve got some bubbly-fueled wedding weekends of your own coming up, or simply want to give the cult-favorite Tula Eye Balm a try, now’s definitely the best time to buy it. Because the only thing we all love more than a cold brew is, of course, a budget-friendly beauty buy.
