tresemme hair spray

When we think "fashion week," expensive clothing and products usually come to mind. But backstage, it's a whole different story. Sure, there are the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer and the GHD Platinum+ Styler, but when it comes to the one product nearly every hair stylist uses most (and we mean, really goes to town on), it's a simple $6 hair spray we can buy at the drugstore.

TRESemmé's Micro Mist Hair Spray was used for everything from slicking hair down at the crown—à la the undone waves at Jonathan Simkhai—to setting romantic beachy waves at Alice + Olivia. And let us tell you, the stuff actually works. We saw strands misted with the product at 10 a.m., and they were still intact at the end of an hours-long presentation at 3 p.m. with no signs of falling flat. But don't worry, there's none of that crunchy feeling you expect from a drugstore hair spray. TRESemmé's spray comes in four different hold levels (texture, smooth, boost and extend), which makes it easy to customize just how secure you want your coif. And there is even a mist specifically for curly hair (yaaasss).

We don't know exactly how many cans of this stuff is used per show, but we'd be willing to bet it's well into the hundreds. Hey, if it's good enough for models like Kaia Gerber and Bella Hadid, it's good enough for everyone.
