You’ve probably heard that you should replace your mascara every three months. (And according to most ophthalmologists, you really should to avoid any chances of infection.) But it’s easy to forget beauty-product expiration dates amid everything else that’s going on in your life.
We get it. That’s why we’ve personally switched to mini tubes of mascara (you know, the ones you get whenever you buy eye cream at Nordstrom). Here’s why:
They last only as long as they should. Meaning, by the time you need a replacement, you’ll still be well within the three-month window, so you’ll always have fresh mascara and zero clumps.
They’re easier to use. Most minis (which you can also score online) come with a full-size brush but a much shorter wand. This makes it easier to reach those teeny hairs on the inner and outer corners of your eyes without getting it all over your lids.
