PureWow editors are *big fans* of Solawave—just check these reviews of the celeb-loved Radiant Renewal wand and the travel-friendly Skincare Mini (my own personal fave). So, naturally, my ears perked up when I heard that the skincare tech brand just released the Eye Recovery Pro mask ($199), which is designed to provide concentrated light therapy around the eyes in order to minimize bags, dark circles and signs of aging—in just three minutes a day. I'm all for any beauty treatment that doesn't take tons of prep or time to be effective, so I dove straight into all the details about this new kid on the block—and trust me, you're going to be just as intrigued as I am.

Solawave

This red light therapy mask, which sits from about the top of your eyebrows to your cheekbones to cover the entire eye area, was made to combat early signs of aging like wrinkles, dark circles, eye bags and sagging. The brand says the light therapy in this device is its most powerful concentration yet, as it combines red, deep-red, near-infrared and amber light for the targeted treatment. Not to mention, this medical-grade device is cleared by the FDA, so you can feel good about using it around the sensitive eye area (though I'd still recommend closing your eyes when the light is on, or using the protective eyewear the mask comes with).

As for how to use it, the brand recommends simply sliding it on after you've cleansed and dried your skin. After three minutes, the light will automatically turn off—it's as simple as that. Within a few weeks of consistent use, you should start to see results.

Since so many other red light masks on the market can feel heavy and bulky, you'll love that this one is designed with a lightweight, flexible material held in place by an adjustable band, so you can sit back and relax while you wait for the three minutes to be up.

As for me? I'm stoked about the fact that the mask rings in at just under $200, considering it provides a professional-grade treatment that you can do from the comfort of your home. And since I've already seen great results from Solawave's other devices, I'm pretty confident that this skincare gadget is set to be worth the hype—and the splurge.
