It takes a special event to get us out on a weeknight, but the latest on our school-night social calendar left us glowing, inside and out. The event in question? Shimmer Paradise at Little Maven—one of New York City’s hottest new restaurants—celebrating the launch of three new products from Palmer’s: Shimmer Radiance Body Oil, Shimmer Radiance Body Gloss, and Brazilian Coco Cream.
First, let’s get into the vibes: immaculate. A stunning private room, modern-American bites, custom cocktails and even a charm station. Check, check, check and check. ICYMI, Little Maven was recently voted one of the most beautiful restaurants in the world (yes, the world) in the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, so the space was an ideal backdrop for the launch. Now onto the reason why everyone left aglow: Palmer’s Shimmer Radiance. A brand-new innovation, Shimmer Radiance combines an illuminating glow with nourishing hydration and adds a hint of highlight while blurring imperfections. Available in an oil and a gloss, the two can be “cocktailed” together for ultimate luminosity and hydration. Guests were able to sample both to give their shoulders, arms and décolletage a hint of shimmer for the evening.
Then there’s the Brazilian Coco Cream. Palmer’s is getting into the game with what they’re calling the “next revolution in visibly firmer, summer-in-a-jar skin.” The cushiony, curve-hugging formula is infused with Brazilian super-ingredients like Guarana and Acai for toned bums, bust and belly. The high-performance results, coupled with an accessible price point, make the Brazilian Coco Cream a must-try.
