What Is the Omnilux Mini Blemish Eraser?

Omnilux

This mini device promises to target breakouts while soothing redness and reducing the appearance of dark spots and blemishes. According to the brand, it uses clinically proven wavelengths of blue and red light, along with hydrocolloid patches (that contain salicylic acid and green tea) to calm the skin and prevent future breakouts. The brand recommends doing four ten-minute treatments per week to see results.

It's also super easy to use. First, charge the device. Then, apply one of the hydrocolloid patches on the device, before placing it directly on your skin's problem area. Finally, press down gently and hold the power button to turn it on. The blemish eraser will light up red as it begins to work its magic. Once the ten minutes are up, pop it right off, discard the patch and you're good to go.

If you're familiar with the brand's Contour Face mask (which we love here at PureWow), then you'll be intrigued at this latest launch. Similar to many of their LED devices, this one a combination of red and blue light, which has become a hot skincare trend this year to tackle a host of skincare woes.

I've also seen an influx of fans on TikTok, where creators are showing off their before and after using the device. Plus, the mini size makes it great option to take on-the-go, so forget having to tote around a heavy tool. And as I mentioned, it has a four-step application that you can press on and go about your day.

Need more proof? Here are some rave reviews from happy customers:

"[The] best product for my hormonal breakouts! Better than any skincare product I have tried. I love how small it is, so I can carry it with me every where I go." — Annakah S.

"This is a great product! Between the light therapy and patches my breakouts reduce in size quickly and help calm the inflammation and redness." — Nina P.

"My face is really prone to cystic acne and [this tool is] helping to clear the blemishes and my super bad habit (picking)." — Christa S.

Aside from the device, the kit also comes with 14 single-use hydrocolloid patches, one magnetic charging cable and an user guide, making it a surefire hit for Cyber Monday. And did I mention it's 20 percent off right now? Here's to a trying out a new buzzy device for 2025!
