“I guess this is my anti-aging secret—this and Botox, if we’re being honest,” Ripa told The Strategist. “It’s pricey but worth it.” The former All My Children star applies this blend of frankincense, juniper berry and sandalwood essential oils every morning and evening to keep her skin hydrated. “When I wake up in the morning, my skin still feels moisturized. It hasn’t evaporated into the abyss in the middle of the night.”

Another explanation for Ripa’s smooth, spot-free skin? She wears sunscreen religiously. “I even wear it indoors as well,” she told Prevention. As she told co-host Ryan Seacrest during a taping of Live with Kelly and Ryan last year, “This product is kind of remarkable. It stains nothing! It’s literally like applying moisturizer, but you really have to be mindful of [the way you apply it]” meaning don’t use too much of it at once. The brand recommends starting with a minimum of two and a maximum of 12 drops, depending on the depth of the shade you’re going for. To use it, simply mix it with your favorite lotion or oil and distribute it evenly on your face for natural-looking results.

The Live host also swears by facial massage to keep her complexion looking its best. Last but not least, Ripa loves this fragrance, which she says is technically a “non-fragrance.” As she explained to The Strategist, “If you were to smell it, you’d get it. It smells like clean soap. Now I know so many people who use it—men and women—because it’s there but not there at the same time and it really works for everyone. Every person smells slightly different, but everybody smells clean, like their own version of what getting out of the shower smells like.”
