Kate Middleton, 41, is no stranger to changing her hair up every once in a while: You may remember when she stepped out with a new style and darker shade for her first public engagement of 2022. Her latest experimentation came during her January 26 visit to the Windsor Foodshare, when the royal swapped her signature beachy waves for a sleek, straight style.

The Princess of Wales was seen helping out a few volunteers with food donations and preparing packages to be picked up. Middleton sported a bold fuchsia coat and a wool turtleneck sweater from Hobbs London, according to Women Wear Daily, with her favorite flowy black slacks from Jigsaw and a pair of heels. It was her super polished locks that had us doing a double take, however.

In a departure from the beachy waves she's been rocking as of late, Middleton's strands were ultra-sleek to show off her layers. The style also added dimension to her chestnut brown hue.

Lately, the royal has been on a roll with the look: Just yesterday, January 25, she stuck to the basics, wearing a deep side part with her bouncy strands during a meeting with the Early Years Advisory Group at Windsor castle to discuss more about her foundation center.

On January 18, she rocked a vibrant orange outfit and cascading swirls on her first solo outing of the year.
