Have you ever found yourself standing in Sephora, trying out different swatches of foundation to find your perfect shade? Yeah, been there and done that (more times than we can count actually). But, is there really a foundation out there that can give you the best match?
On a brand-new episode of Testing Tikok, PureWow content creator Kate Kesselman finally got her hands on the viral IL Makiage Woke Up Like This Foundation ($45) and put the widely loved makeup product to the ultimate test.
Before Kate had a chance to test out the IL Makiage, she answered an online color match survey to find her perfect shade of foundation. And to be honest, she wasn’t too sure how “perfect” the results would be.
“But, I am skeptical because that seems very hard to do,” she said in the video above. “I’m just super excited to try it.”
Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for: the wear test. After taking the online test and receiving her IL Makiage foundation in the mail, Kate quickly noticed the shade was a little darker than her skin tone, which kinda worried her a little bit. “I’m hoping it blends well and it looks more even,” she shared.
