Let’s level for a minute: It’s always been hard to find a mascara that has it all. If you want a clean formula, you’ve got to settle for a higher price tag. The newest formula—now known as Lash Blast Clean Volume Mascara—is basically a high-end dupe. First, it’s totally vegan with no parabens, talc, sulfates or mineral oil, just like those expensive brands you may have checked out (or even tried). Second, it’s infused with nourishing oils to condition and protect lashes, as well as flexible-yet-firm bristles that grab and coat every lash for a full, fluffy effect. Finally, it’s cruelty-free and reviewers report a flake- and smudge-free wear. But the most major difference of all? Lash Blash Clean is…drumroll please…only $8.
When one of our own editors tried the new COVERGIRL mascara, her exact words were, “What in the world?!” She continued to explain, “I was genuinely excited to try it because I only buy cruelty-free beauty products, but I was not expecting it to be this good. One problem I typically notice with these cleaner high-end formulas is that they tend to go on gloopy, but this one went on so smoothly and actually separated my lashes out really, really nicely.
