Calling all hair obsessives, Dyson lovers and beauty-holics! I have some news that you'll definitely want to hear. Dyson, the brand behind some of your holy grail hair tools (ahem, including the Airstrait and Airwrap), just launched an upgraded version of its iconic Supersonic hair dryer that's designed to prevent heat damage and protect your scalp health. Sounds like someone at Dyson has been listening to our blow-drying concerns! Wanna get your hands on the smart-sensor hair tool? You can scoop up the new Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer ($499) at Sephora RN. I certainly am, and I'll tell you why: As a proud owner of the OG version, which cut my drying time to less than 20 minutes, I'm very confident that this newer model is all that and then some.

I caught up on all the cool features that it offers, like the dryer's new network of Nural sensors that limit excessive heat and "automatically optimize your styling routine," per the brand. In other words, this new technology ensures that you get the most out of your blowout. For instance, in scalp protect mode, it'll automatically adjust the air temperature to 130 degrees Fahrenheit when you get close to your roots, so you can safely and comfortably style your strands while cutting down on heat damage, which can lead to dryness, breakage, frizz and flyaways. And, of course, this upgraded model comes with all the beloved attachments, including the wide tooth comb (which is perfect for quick-drying, may I add), the gentle air attachment, the styling concentrator (which is one of my go-to's), the flyaway attachment and the wave+ curl diffuser, which has one TikToker head over heels (uh, hair).
