I'm a longtime fan of Drunk Elephant here. From their punchy packaging that shines on any countertop to their straightforward ingredients that focus on supporting healthy pH levels in your skin, it's unsurprising that the brand continues to have a devoted following after all these years. So if you need to restock on some of their classics, like the Protini Polypeptide cream ($69; $55), or you want to try one of their newer launches like the Resort to This Day kit ($99; $79), you're in luck. The Drunk Elephant sale for Black Friday 2024 starts right now through Tuesday, Dec. 3, featuring a 20 percent sitewide discount—no promo code needed.

Not sure where to start? Here are five of my favorite Drunk Elephant products that I'm definitely picking up today.

Formulated with a 12 percent AHA/BHA blend (specifically lactic, tartaric, citric and salicylic acid) along with horse chestnut and white tea to help soothe skin, the lightweight gel absorbs quickly and makes everything look a bit smoother and brighter the next morning. It’s one of few exfoliating products that doesn’t irritate my cheeks (which are more sensitive than the rest of my face). I’ve been using it for years now.

2. A-Gloei Maretinol Oil

Drunk Elephant

Another go-to is this silky oil that our associate fashion commerce editor Stephanie Meraz calls "perfect for retinol newbies" because it combines virgin marula oil with a small concentration of retinol to yield the benefits of the vitamin A derivative (i.e., improve the overall tone and texture of your skin) without irritating it, as some retinol products do. "The antioxidant-rich oil is also loaded with omegas 6 and 9 that will feel like the ultimate moisture bomb as it soaks into your face," she adds.

3. Protini Polypeptide Cream

Drunk Elephant

Speaking of moisture bombs, I'm fairly certain that Goldilocks herself would plop this face cream into her shopping cart. Not too greasy nor too light, and with a clever pump packaging that dispenses the perfect amount of product each time, everything about this hydrating cream is just right. The formula features a blend of peptides, growth factors, amino acids and pygmy waterlily to replenish dry skin, and there are essential oils, silicones or fragrances in it that could potentially cause irritation.

A TikTok favorite, these easy-to-use bronzing drops are often sold out due to their popularity. As associate SEO editor Marissa Wu shared in her review: "Straight out of the bottle, I found it a bit viscous. It mixed easily with my face cream, and two drops gave me a bronze shimmer on my face. Surprisingly, it also evened out my skin tone." Fans of the drops say it leaves you with a subtle tan that will wash off with your nightly skincare routine, and it has antioxidants in it to protect against environmental damage during the day. Mix a few drops with your moisturizer to dilute it a bit before applying for a softer glow—or apply the drops directly to your skin for a slightly deeper tan.

5. Beste No.9 Jelly Cleanser

Drunk Elephant

If you're looking for a new cleanser, consider giving this bad boy a chance. It's formulated with three key ingredients such as mild cleansing agents to break down dirt, oil and grime, glycerin to boost hydration and cantaloupe fruit extract to soothe and hydrate the skin. As beauty editor Chelsea Candelario shares, "This jelly cleanser washes my face without stripping away my natural oils. It has a rich lather and the scent isn't overwhelming. As someone with sensitive skin, I love how it cleanses and softens my skin minus any irritation or redness."

6. Resort to This Day Kit

Drunk Elephant

Here's your sign to buy a beauty gift set during Drunk Elephant's Black Friday sale. While the brand has a bunch of options (including a $595 carry-on set), I'm partial to starting any beginner with a small bundle of their best-sellers. The set comes with everything they'll need for their morning routine, including mini-sizes of C-Firma Fresh Day serum, D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine drops and C-Tanglo Multivitamin eye cream. They'll also find a full-size of the popular Protini Polypeptide Cream.
