Guys: CVS has really stepped up its game in the beauty aisles lately. The last time we were there (waiting for our prescription to be filled…as usual), we ended up walking out with an armful of sheet masks and a rose-gold cream eye shadow. So we wrangled up our favorite finds—from French pharmacy staples to the best of K-beauty.
10 Secretly Chic Beauty Products You Can Buy at CVS
Peach Slices Citrus Honey Aqua Glow
Admittedly, it was the cute packaging that initially drew us to this fun little tube of face lotion, but the texture and way it made our skin feel afterward are what will have us running back for more. Infused with a refreshing cocktail of grapefruit, orange and lemon-peel oils, it feels almost like a watery gel or serum more than a heavy cream.

La Roche-posay Anthelios 60 Melt-in Sunscreen Milk
We used to ask our jet-setting friends to grab us some of this stuff when they were visiting Europe. So imagine our surprise when we found it just two aisles away from the Charmin at our local CVS. And we know what you’re thinking: Relax, it’s just sunscreen, but trust us when we say that it’s a cut above—both in terms of protection and texture. (In fact, it just won a perfect score for the third year in a row from the Consumer Reports Annual Sunscreen Guide.)
La Roche-Posay ($36)
The Saem Eco Soul Glam Eyes
Remember that rose-gold eye shadow we were talking about earlier? This is it. A swipe or two with your fingertips is all you need to make your lids gleam because the color payoff and creamy texture are so forgiving.
The Saem ($10)
Ariul Stress Relieving Purefull Cleansing Tissue
Face wipes are face wipes, right? We thought so, too, until we got a whiff of one of these. Loaded with natural essential oils (like eucalyptus and lemon), it smells and feels refreshing on our skin without ever being too sticky or cloying. Plus, the slim package easily fits into all of our various sized bags.
Ariul ($3)
Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean Micellar Cleansing Water
Speaking of fast cleansing, we’re sort of obsessed with micellar waters lately. (They’re essentially a makeup remover, cleanser and toner in one—and a godsend for harried mornings or sleepy nights.) This one is alcohol- and fragrance- free, which is great since our skin tends to react pretty easily.
Formula 10.0.6 ($6)
Milani Infinite Liquid Eye Liner Everlast
Think about everything you want in a liquid liner: glossy pigment, a precise brush for easy application and—perhaps most importantly—color that won’t quit. This little guy checks all of the boxes and then some. (Apparently it’s a fan favorite, too, as evidenced by the rabid reviews we found online.)
Milani ($8)
Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads
This Insta-famous UK brand got a lot of attention in recent years because a certain Kardashian-Jenner posted about it. (It’s Kylie, by the way—she’s since signed on as an official ambassador.) And say what you will about them, but those ladies sure know a thing or two about beauty. Case in point: These glycolic pads make our skin glow and our pores noticeably smaller every time we use them (and they’re a fraction of the cost of the pads we usually get).
Nip + Fab ($13)
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick By Kate Moss
Another cult-favorite brand from across the pond, Rimmel is still relatively under the radar here in the States. Dip your toe in the vast collection with this matte lipstick that feels like velvet when you put it on—and stays that way for hours afterward.
Rimmel ($6)
Frudia Citrus Brightening Sheet Mask
We promised you sheet masks and we’re giving you sheet masks. While there are tons to choose from, Frudia’s vitamin C drenched packs have quickly become our favorite. Slap one on whenever your face looks like the life has been zapped from it (so mid-week) and you’ll feel fresher within 15 minutes.
Frudia ($2)
Skinfix Ultra Rich Hand Cream
And finally, no beauty regimen is complete without some good ol’ hand cream—especially with how frequently we wash our mitts. Keep a tube by your desk and apply it throughout the day. (We swear it’s what keeps our manis intact.)
