Welcome to March, friends: the month where Daylight Savings makes its triumphant return, ushering in more sunshine and the promise of warmer weather. Until then, I’m getting a little mood boost from a few new beauty launches—seven, to be exact—including a delightful lip balm that leaves behind the perfect flush, a hair oil that smells better than most perfumes and a perfume that smells like a deliciously slow summer afternoon.

How to Layer Perfume to Create Your Own Signature Scent

Meet LipSoftie, a plush new lip treatment from Tower28 that I can't stop wearing these days. It comes in both clear and tinted options, including my personal fav, "blood orange vanilla," which offers the ideal amount of color and shine to perk up a fatigued face. I also want to mention how good this feels on your lips. It's cushiony and comforting, thanks to ingredients like shea butter and jojoba oil, and it's lightly scented with fragrance-free, food-grade, non-artificial flavor to ensure it won’t irritate or dry out your lips.

To be completely honest, I didn’t have high expectations when I first picked up this bottle. A hair oil is a hair oil after all, right? Most of them tend to feel too slick in your hands and even slicker in your hair (despite what the promising verbiage on the labels say). So, imagine my delight when I discovered that this hair oil didn’t feel too greasy *and* it absorbed nicely into my puffy, just-washed hair, taming it just so. The lightweight oil actually feels more like a silky water, if that makes sense, and in place of slippery silicones, there’s chia seed, sacha inchi and marula oils that add shine and moisture to your hair.

The geniuses behind TikTok-famous perfume “Milk” have done it again with their latest scent. Featuring top notes of orange blossom that give way to mid notes of white florals and dry down to a salty vanilla base, “Sunlit Blooms” starts off strong like the sun at noon on a summer day and it gradually fades into a softer haze like a dreamy summer sunset. TL;DR It’s the perfume you’ll be reaching for all season long.

Because why shouldn’t a claw clip be as decorative as it is functional? This medium-sized clip is just large enough to secure a half-up style for those of us with thick hair. The claw itself doesn’t dig uncomfortably into your scalp or create too much tension, and the jelly heart detail balances out nicely with the tortoiseshell base.

One can never have too many hand creams IMO, and this one from Moroccanoil is a treat for your skin and senses. Loaded with argan oil, hyaluronic acid, squalane and a blend of cocoa and shea butters, the texture is velvety rich, and yet it absorbs nicely. The brand describes their newest scent, Dahlia Rouge, as “elegant and alluring,” which is precisely how I feel whenever I smooth it over my hands. Dahlia petals mingle with tuberose, sandalwood and musk to blanket your skin in a cozy floral fragrance.

All hail this small but mighty humidifier. Clocking it at just seven inches tall and three inches wide, this portable pal is ready to go wherever you go—whether that's your office desk or your hotel room. (It even comes with a dust bag for travel.) With 11 hours of run time on a single charge and easy to clean, dishwasher-safe parts, it's also efficient in more ways than one.

As a former gel nail devotee, it’s hard to believe that I’ve become such a press on convert over the last couple of years, but I have. It helps that the options just keep getting better and better. See: This gorgeous lilac set from Glamnetic that looks as good as any salon manicure I’ve ever gotten. Each passport-sized box comes with 30 nails in 12 sizes, a small tube of nail glue, a double-sided nail file, a cuticle stick and an alcohol pad for polished nails in minutes—sans any dry times or UV lamps. (The nails also come in cool designs and finishes, including the ever-trending cat eye manicure.)
